Default Power Wagon Slow Build

Hey guys,

Getting back into the sport after a 10 year retirement. I used to race nitro trucks. And now decided to get back into the sport. Wanted to try scalers this time.

Couple weeks ago I picked up a new Power Wagon SCX10. Put a couple back yard rock runs in.

First mod was to paint the wheels to give it a better look. Wanted to change up rims and tires, but apparently I'm told to keep these Ripsaws for a while since they are the R35 Stickies. I'm definitely digging the look of the Iroks!

Last night, I made up my own Battery Tray relocation and splash guard. I relocated my electronics also. Used aluminum and gorilla tape to cover it to help give it a fenderwell look. (found the tip on RCsparks.)

Also waterproofed it, everything except the receiver box. I'm waiting on my Light kit and Brake Controller to show up. Also on order is a Scaler Fab Bumper with shackles and Stinger.

This wil be a slow build. Have a business to run, two boys to chase around and of couse the 1:1 rig to play with.

I ordered a 10 led kit from rc-lights and added the amber 3mm leds and extra wiring to it. The 3mm is perfect for clearance lights.
