Default Is this normal amount of noise

Hello all. Ive recently finished building my first scx10 (dingo)


Took it for its first run today.. is it normal to make this much noise?? Seems very clicky??

It kinda sounds like your pinion/spur mesh is too loose.

If that's not it try disconnecting the drive shafts and running it, then front and rear by their selves to isolate the noise.

Thanks. Ill have a look. Im thibking it could be that as it makes a completely doffrent noise in fwd and rev. Also is it normal for the drive shaft to touch the housing??

Yea that clearance looks normal, ie. stupd close. As mentioned above check pinion/ spur mesh.
Also, check to see if the driveshafts are indexed properly. You have to line up the marks on the ends of the half-shafts or you could have significant chatter.
