Don't quote me, but I believe you have to either clearance VP c hubs or run wraith parts...and of course shorten them. I'm looking at doing the same.

you can if you cut them shorter and flatten the ends to fit in the lockers.

Xr uni's are longer than scx10's stock.

They wont drop in and fit.

How to do the narrow XR10 mod to Axial axles

Don't just read these answers as gospel. Read links provided & search more.

Yes they make universals for the scx10 / ax10, lots.

Am I missing something?

You question seemed to be "can I drop xr10 universals in my stock scx10 axles?"

Or are you asking if you can just put xr uni's , chubs , and knuckes on a stock scx10 axle case?

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Universal-CV...item4d2c1eedd7

ax & scx are the same specs

ahhhh maybe you mean universal style rather than cvd?

I assumed you meant "upgrade for dog bones" not specifically universal style joint front axles.

I don't think there is a drop in universal style for the scx10 / ax10 just cvd's

Xr10 universals will not work with scx/ax10 hubs and knuckles. You will need xr/wraith hubs and knuckles for the xr10 steering mod

To the first question, the answer is NO. Not without quite a bit of work. I covered it in these two videos:

even if you shorten them they won't fit with the scx10 chub and knuckle....thats why there is xr10 mod like Harley posted above.
