Default Rubicon Windshield...

I am just finishing up the body for my Rubicon kit. I mount the windshield per the instructions, putting the holes in the correct spots and the windshield is a good 3/8" off of the body. Is this normal? Anyone else have this problem?

Thanks.

I wouldn't worry about it to much. I've been fighting with my windshield to just stay on after the first few comps. But I got the rtr rubi and my windshield never lined up perfect! Hope that helps.

Mine did the same thing, so I made a scale bungee cord from a hair tie and some paper clips, then attached each end to the sideview mirrors, it covers the gap perfectly and looks scale

Thanks for the input.

I had to Dremel a bit off of the bottom and make two new holes.

Looks like you already fixed it, but I had the same problem with mine. Drilled out the hole where the instructions dictated, and it was about 1/2" off the hood. Drilled through one of the other upper spots and that fixed it. The instructions are a bit misleading.
