Default Why so many SCX10 Rollers?

I am sorry if this is an insanely stupid question....but why are there so many SCX10 rolling chassis on ebay with no electronics?

Do people buy these for the stock electronics and then try to sell the rest? I don't understand the gain from this?

I think they are selling the rolling chassis as more people would prefer to install their own electronics.Selling the RTR electronics as replacements.

They are parting out the rtr, they get more money for. It as a whole this way and you can get a roller for less then a full rt, win win.

I looked at this before and if you get normal ebay prices for all the parts you can make quite a bit.
