Default From Honcho to Dingo to Honcho to Jeep

This is my first rc truck and after reading online reviews, I went with the scx10 honcho; it looked pretty cool... especially after watching the manufacture's vid about it!

After spending hours on the forum and looking at pics, I wanted something with a full body (non truggy). I saw some pretty cool pictures of the dingo, so that's what I went with. Since the Honcho WB is longer than the Dingo, I had lots of tire rubbing issues. Tried to fix that with the shorter all-aluminum link set from axial- but it just didn't ever feel right. Also, with the shorter WB, I was having more roll overs that I wasn't having with the Honcho.

So I went back to the Honcho body, bought some upgrades (like the all aluminum links, 5 bucket led set, and new tires and wheels). After all this I was still craving the "fuller" body, and knowing the Dingo wouldnt work, I tried out the Jeep Rubicon since it had the same wheelbase as the Honcho. Now I am happy with the body choice and think I wont change it to anything else.... for now.

Here's when I first bought it

With the Dingo body

And how it finally stands

Upgrades (so far)
4 linked the front
Axial all-aluminum link set
Axial 5 light bucket led
Axial black beedlock wheels
Axial BFG krawler tires
Lift kit
Proline scaler shocks
RC4WD front and rear bumper
Warn winch

Currently waiting on:
Axial 2 led white lights (for headlights)
Jevne Racing Recon Brick battery plate
Warn winch controller

Probably not going to upgrade any electronics until they start breaking. I would like to eventually get the vanquish led bar (even though it seems like every other jeep has one) and possibly change the tires. I dont feel like the bfg's grip too well... at least on the dirt. I'm thinking about getting the pitbull rock beast tires. I've read some good things about them.

Anywho, never made an official thread about my truck/build... so thanks for looking! I would love to hear some suggestions, comments, recommendations

heeps are for sheeple and harley wannabe's

Crotch Rockets and Toyota's are the real deal

I traded my 1:1 heep in for a Toyota
and have never regretted that move.

It's fun to roll Moab... and make jeeper's cry
or break when they attempt to keep up

My 1:1 is a Taco so no complaints from me there! We also use them at work and abuse them pretty dang hard- and they keep on rollin'

Thanks! Unless you go with something like the deadbolt or G6, I personally think the 2.2's are too big
