Default My SCX10 deadbolt drives slightly to the right.

Hey all,

I'm still new to the rock crawler scene. Today I started to finally put all the parts I ordered into my scx10. Before installing all these parts, my truck has been slightly driving to the right. I don't know why. I figured maybe my new parts would help correct the alignment. I installed the rear lockouts, front knuckles, and hubs. I also installed a new waterproof servo onto it with new aluminum steering links. After all that was installed I switched it on and it works! Problem is that when I test drove it, it still drives slightly to the right and it's starting to worry me.

Please help! Thanks in advance!

You can adjust the steering trim on your radio to make the deadbolt track straight.

What he said, adjust the steering trim accordingly from your remote and it'll track straight.

On top of your stock controller, open the black cover- adjust the knob furthest to the left "ST-TRIM" either clockwise or counterclockwise depending on which way it is pulling. Slightly turn it while driving straight until you get it where you want it.

If the TX's trim adjustment is way off center
after centering the servo's horn...

You can remove the servo horn...
...set the TX's trim adjust to center.

then re-align(center) the horn as you reinstall that.

Now your TX trim adjustment will
have equal left/right adjustment at the TX's trim adjust.

If it's a new RTR out the box...
it should be fairly centered already
and likely just needs a TX trim adjustment.

I bet it's a 25t output on your servo. I put a 2mm spacer on my steering link between the link and rod end making the link a hair longer. Because looking at the radio and seeing it displaying not perfectly center after I adjusted the trims disturbs my OCD. Axial part # AXA1414
