| F-350 SCX with a canopy
I've been a member for a long time but never post so I figured I'd change it up and show my rigs off. I got this rig pretty well setup already, just added some of my own touches. This is what it looked like before I got it. Holmes BRXL 35 turn Brood Chaos motor Integy aluminum trans Metal trans gears MIP drive shafts Axial aluminum chubs Vanquish high steer knuckles MIP CVD's RC4WD wheels. Vented TSL's I wheeled it just like that for a little bit and then started changing it up Last edited by hillbillybob; 08-20-2015 at 12:06 PM. |

I like the winch idea, how does it hold up compared to a normal winch?

honestly... I'd think the topper designed for the hi-lux/mojave would look better then the sharp edges of the 4runner looking design. but looks decent for home fab |

| Re: F-350 SCX with a canopy It holds up pretty well so far. I broke the line within the first couple pulls because there was a bur on the inside edge of the spool I missed. After that it's been great. I spent a decent amount of time getting the pot centered in the servo. I'm using that for a little bit until I order a heyok controller or a micro esc with a drag brake

| Re: F-350 SCX with a canopy My plan was to have more of a radius edge but I couldn't get it to come out square or even on both sides so I used sandpaper and broke the corners the best I could without making it too thin. Wasn't ideal but it also wasn't cooperating at all!
