| DIY winch mount!
Ok guys this is a little thing i made and wanted to share with you guys! Im making this because, my proline cgr bronco body cant fit the stock scx10 bumper. I wanted a winch and this is what i came up with! Materials: Scx10 poison spider bumper Hacksaw Sidecutters (or sharp knife) First thing you wanna do is cut the bumper outside of the stinger on BOTH sides. Next cut the stinger completely off. Now with the stinger off take the shackles off. Then cut both of the bumper (where it narrows down) Then it should look like this now get the small poles off the backcut as close as you can to the bumper. then test fit Next you need to mount it. I havent figured how to mount it, i will get back to you tommrow about mounting it. I hope this works for you and other people. Cheers jacob ________________________________ Scx10 Bronco aka The Bronco |

weld - braze and make your own... the only limit... is your imagination you could also do a servo winch and mount that rearward some feeding the line to and out the front. ^ less space required up front I replicated muh 1:1 using a little imagination... a vice, cut off wheel and welder was all I had for use. | Re: DIY winch mount! not sure why you think you can't !? but if I ran that body... I'll assure you mine would have them. If the body over hangs too much... I'd just lengthen the wheel base slightly and extend the frame. Maybe not an easy, direct bolt-on thing... But I ignore the bolt on offerings anyways. |

The body sticks out to far like you said. I dont really wanna extend the frame and lengthen the wheel base. Then i would either extend the body out to fit the wheel base or get another body. ________________________________ Scx10 Bronco aka The Bronco | |
