I used the stock frame just cut it down and brazed the truggy frame to it

Man I hate electrical gremlins. Lost steering but got it all figured out. Ended up swapping out the rx. All good now.

Yes. They are cut down xr universals. You also have to drill and tap new holes on the front and back side of the axle. Top and bottom holes don't line up for the c-hubs.
