Default Finished build woes

Hello chaps.

I hope someone can help me out here as I am confused and a little disappointed.

I have just finished my first ever build of a crawler. It's obviously an SCX10 and I have the jK jeep variant.

I have just run it for the first time and it's rough. Very rough. One wheel is smooth the others wobble wildly (there is no play in the system to hand!) the wobble is only visible when running (I.E hand turning shoes nothing).

The rear driveshaft is at maximum extension and the entry into the axle is facing downwards!

I have aftermarket lower links (aluminium instead of the plastic kit ones) and I have 4 the sa,e length....I believe these are part of the issue but not the rough axle running and wheel wobble 😕

Any help or pointers would be ace as I am gutted it's so rough as I spent a lot of time and car making the build good.

it sounds like your lower links are too long for the upper links..

Are there foams in the tires and are they even in the tire? Poor foam location due to cutting, rolling, adding weight, etc can cause a tire to wobble.

Your lower links need to be shorter than the uppers so the pinion is rotated up towards the tranny. This will correct the driveline angle and also keep the driveline from over extending.

Post some pics or a video so we can see what you're talking about, oh, and by the way, they're never finished.

Also your drive shafts have alignment marks on them then align the front and rear marks as best you can this can cause some vibration with the plastic drive shafts. There are utube videos of how to fix this issue.

I also align my mip shafts as best a possible as well. Turn you car upside down and try to align the shafts it takes a few try to find the best spot.
