| Aftermarket Chassis
Hello, I'm building a parts list for my next build. I was considering one of the aftermarket chassis. Does anyone have any experience, and like one more than the other? |

I just put together a G6 with a steel version of the TSS SCXHR V3 and am very happy with it. Took it out for a run this past Saturday and It did well on the rocks. I really like the higher rail sweep above the axles as well as integrated shock hoops with this chassis. Also take a look at Toyzuki's offering. I believe it's made out of G10. There's a few builds going on in the 1.9 Rig section that are using this chassis and it's got one mean stance to it. IMO can't go wrong with either. |

Toyzuki Angled skid chassis with his forward motor mount is pretty awesome. Toyzukis is offered in G10 or Aluminum. All a matter of prefrence. I'm in mid build so I cant say much on performance except it brings the weight fordward and very low. My friend ran his this past weekend though and was very impressed with it.

I was looking at the toyzuki one in the vendor section and G10 sounds crazy cool. I feel like there is too many options out there. I also don't see too many people with an opinion after using several. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I have the tss running trailing arms on an extended wheelbase scx. It's nice. I want to do a toyzuki frame next. I like the concept. Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk |

Here's what you can expect from a Toyzuki chassis. That's a castle 1410 directly under the skid

Toyzuki chassis. Everything he does is thoroughly tested in scale comps or with scale comps in mind where maximum performance matters. I may be a little biased since I know the guy, but seeing the R&D he puts into his products its hard not to go his way. I just got back into crawling again after a year off and one of his chassis will be finding its way onto my class 1 build.

I have a CustomCrawl RC chassis coming if the USPS can ever get it here. Supposed to have been delivered monday but still not here and the tracking number is not updating anymore. Guess it is stuck somewhere. Going to have to call and deal with some flunky at the USPS to find out what is going on, I HATE dealing with USPS.

we have one of the original aftermarket chassis for the SCX10 and have continued to update it. many have copied our high clearance design, but we feel its the best on the market and are proven with 100s of them sold and return customers. the only one that is a direct swap for stock mount locations, and with CAD engineered suspension geometry, not just swiss cheese holes. we also offer a combo with a no snag smooth skid for even better performance [COLOR="White"] TSS SCXHR Chassis The Scale Shop is very proud to release our all new SCX High Clearance chassis. This chassis fixes all the issues with the aging SCX10 chassis. SCX10 dimensions and all factory mount points precisely replicated Uses your existing skid, braces, and hardware Front and rear "arches" raised 1/2" More suspension up travel and full compression at any ride height More clearance for CMS and panhard rods Eliminates axles and upper links hitting chassis rails Integrated shock towers Dual raised upper link mounts, one positive and one negative anti-squat setup More shock mounting options Dual Bumper mounting positions, stock and raised 1/2" Twice the torsional rigidity of stock frame Comes in raw 12 gauge steel or 8 gauge aluminum ready for paint or welding Combine with our TSS Smooth Skid for the Ultimate Performance Package! Made in the USA This picture really explains it all(Old V2 shown) [I][SIZE=4] Combine with our TSS Smooth Skid for the Ultimate Performance Chassis for your SCX10 or Custom Build. ~TSS~ SCXHR Chassis! | Re: Aftermarket Chassis Differences are the angled skid obviously as well as integrated shock towers, cms capability on both sides of the rails. A couple different options for rear upper link mounts there might be some others too. I've been running this chassis for around a year now. My current setup is running single bend lower links front and year. I typically crawl right through spots where other guys get hung up.

| Re: Aftermarket Chassis It's about 12.5" I build my own links out of 3/16 stainless steel rod. I'm basically using rear lower links up front and a custom upper and panhard.
