Default 4 link on the front?

Will the stock plastic 4 link mount on the axle fit under the front axle servo mount and not interfere with anything? I have enough links to do 4 link from and rear but wanted to make sure before I buy the plastic 4 link mount that bolts to the axle. Thanks!

Fits just fine using Axial rod ends or plastic links, that is how the G6 kit comes stock.

If you have links that use Revo rod ends, then you have to do some trimming or switch to a Wraith servo plate.

Yes it will. The three link mount will get removed and the 4 link mount will fit right in there. However, you will lose one mounting point for the servo plate because it attaches to the 3 link mount, and the 4 link mount does not have the screw hole like the 3 link mount has. Do not worry, because you will still have two solid mounting points for the servo plate, and it will nicely rest on the 4 link mount.

Actually the rod ends barely rubs on the bottom of the servo mount. My first SCX had shiny spots to prove it, the rest have had holes drilled in the plate for clearance. Doesn't rub enough to really bother the stock rod ends, but the larger 4mm Revo ends will rub bad enough to bind the suspension slightly.

It also really bugs me to loose that 3rd mounting point, so I run the longest screws I can in the other two holes. Not exactly sure what size, I want to say 3x14 mm?

This is what I used. Connected a couple Traxxas links.

I used Blue Monkey SCX10 4-Link Front Conversion (Bracket Only) and then you get all three axle housing mounts to the servo/link plate and no problem with Revo rod ends rubbing anything.

That plate will work too, but the Blue Monkey plate is better, you get two servo mounting hole options (one set moves servo back like dewanger and the other is stock), four upper link mounting hole options and because the plate is shorter the upper links will be longer which is better link geometry.

EDIT: Matt, the owner of Blue Monkey is very helpful and when one of the parts that I ordered was not quite right, I emailed him, he sent replacement parts and made it all good...stand up guy to deal with.
