Default Mounting a light bar

I working on a proline ford f-100 body. I was wondering how everyone was mounting a light bar? I have done this on the wraith, and deadbolt however there is a cage on those. I was thinking about running a brace in the body, and then reinforcing with shoe goo and dry wall tape. Any pics or ideas would be helpful.
