Default Od and ud r&p

I did an xr mod with scale vanquish knuckles. Im running stock front unders in the rear and getting a lot of push from my rear end. I know overs and unders is a bit of difference. I do mostly trail runs pretty slow lots of rock climbs. Is it to much or is it sucessful?

Makes me wonder, the front should pull, not be pushed. Are you sure you have ud gears, not od gears in back?

I've seen this done wrong a couple times now and it will cause all kinds of problems including poor handling, over heating, and short battery life. Easiest way to remember is the bigger number always goes in the rear or at least match the front. Example 43/13, 38/13, 36/14........43 goes in the rear. If you have a 36/14 in the front you need the same or a 38 or 43 in the rear. HTH

Yeah it's right I build axles for a living I just have so much steering when it's cranked it wants to push. Stock and under was awesome till I did the xr mod so my question again is has anyone had much sucess with over and under or is it to much on a trail rig?

You sure it's just not pushing due to the locked differential like a 1:1 does? I run OD gears in the front with the XR mod and stock in the rear and it still pushes a bit at full lock just due to the angle and the lockers.

Yeah a combo of it being locked and a lot of steering for sure is the problem. I was just wondering about it but it doesn't seem to popular. When I put my atlas in my jeep with the twin stick it sure did make the day of wheeling more enjoyable with having 2 low and not having to fight the front locker all the time.

Been running Od/ud in almost all of my 15 crawlers for years with zero issues.
With xr mods and every other histeer knuckle/chub combo out..

Are you running uni's or cvds up front?
