Looking to braze and bend a roll cage for my scx10.looking for tubing tips ,brazing tips and cage build ideas any info helps thats

I would use 3/16 solid rod for the cage, it is heavy but it can hold up if you weld it right. A bender would be awesome, I just used a 1/2" wrench and a vice and it got the job done. Here is what I built

If you are brazing, get silver solder and flux, it will make your life so much easier. the silver melts at a lower temp than the bronze brazing rods you can get at lowes or home depot. Just make sure your area where you are brazing is well ventilated and that you have a good mapp gas torch. trial and error my friend. You will be just fine, just jump in its not as hard as you think. takes some practice to make it look good but you get the hang of it.

I haven't read this whole through very recently but last I looked it still all applied.

Main difference is it's easier to source a MAPP gas torch than oxy/acet
