best of luck. I think you may have an issue with bumpers and the front overhang, but it will be interesting to see how you work it out. Maybe you mount the body low, but get the mud plates to lower the motor/raise the frame to clear 1.9s? That is what I did for my SCX10 to run 2.2s on the Mighty FC body. It worked pretty well.

Thanks! The body is a hair short for the frame, but I'm planning on making some custom bumpers and I'll have to get a little creative with the trimming to make up for it and make it look like it's not hacked up. Haha

What a project! I'm looking to mount a car body on my SCX10 as well, interested to see how this one turns out.

It's definitely a learning experience that all started with an impulse buy! But I guess this whole hobby is for me. Haha! What kind of body did you want to run?

I have just always wondered about putting a car body on an SCX10. I'll be waiting for your pics.

Hmmm, typically I don't like these kinds of things at all... But that looks so MadMax style! Pretty nice job. |

It's pretty good looking... you've done a good job getting it to sit pretty low on the frame....

| Re: Project lifted SS Thanks! I have it as low as it will go on the front body posts. I'm planning on making some custom bumpers for it that will hopefully tie up the loose ends and give me the look I have imagined in my head this whole time.
