| LEDs and few other addons
Hi folks, Look what I have done recently to my Wrangler. LED bumper bar and headlights: Quite bright. 24 bright 5mm leds. Minimal amount of wires and room for extension. Note: although potentiometer seemed to be useful to vary resistance when more leds are added, it is unstable adjusting on low Ohms. 2 channels are connected to 2 5V 1.5A(max) channels on PWM payload driver (Adafruit DC hat driver); Light is switched on PS4 controller remotely. Headlights - some cheap LED flashlights, 9 LEDs each (standard 20 mm). Note that I don't have to plug/unplug wires when I remove the body - connection is done using some aluminum foil on the front body stands. It is super-easy to fix the common problem of Steering servo arm interfering with the front frame bar. Just tight it using plastic wire fastener so that it wont go under the frame bar. |
