Default Deadbolt to hilux

So I got a early Christmas present from the wife, which I knew I was getting but I've had a plan to build a hilux, I know not very original but I just love the old yotas and I want something more realistic than the deadbolt body. I've got a plan but just having trouble deciding which way I want to do the rear suspension, relocate the shocks or cut holes in the bed and use some styrene to box the towers back in? Will I loose flex by relocating the shocks in? Just want to figure it my plan before I start ordering parts. I know I'm going with the gcm forward motor mount combo and their pan hard setup so I can get the full interior in with no trimming.
Already started tearing it apart!

My wife's hilux is running the stock bed. I intended to mount it straight to the stock body mounts back there but screwed up on the measurement.
With the body sitting on the top of the shock towers the frame sits about a 1/2" below the bottom of the cab. Perfect for the look I was after.

The suspension is limited by the links hitting cross braces...

12"wb as it sits.

Nice looking truck!
I'm going to make some mounts to utilize the stock holes on the sides because I like my body's to stay pretty tight so they don't rattle down the trail. I would like mine to sit down level with the cab but I will have to get the body in my hands and see what I want to do.

I've tried searching this but not much luck.
I know I need the dingo length links but just hung up on how the best way to do the rear is.

I have seen it done both ways, my vote is relocate the shocks, or run shorter ones that don't interfere with the drop bed. It always looks a little off when the shock towers are hidden by "stuff", to me anyway.

This is true, it would take up a lot of bed space also.
I just saw a post on fb where a guy is using 110 kings with them relocated and he had a crazy amount of flex so I'll probly try that rout and leave the bed alone.
