| My 12 year old's Dingo
We got my son a Dingo kit for getting good grades last year. The two of us built it over a one week span. Had a lot of fun building it! For Christmas we got him the Integy aluminum frame rails and all the cross members to go with it. Including new upper links and drive shafts. I also have a 1:1 Jeep TJ. I have been using my experience from building my TJ to show him the ins and outs of suspension tuning. It's amazing how realistic the hobby has advanced since my day (Sand Scorcher, Super Champ, and a Hornet that I still own....). We took a ride to a place called RC Excitement and learned a few things that we need to do to make a more effective crawler. Now on to the next project that I've intro'd my self.... I have the original frame from the dingo and I'm looking to build it up into a crawler for myself. I'm looking for axle links that I can adjust to the proper drive line angles and different wheel bases. Any suggestions? |

For links it is super easy to make your own. I prefer 8/32 all thread 1/4"stainless tubing and revo rod ends. Cut the all thread to length, thread on the rod ends, and then cut some 1/4 stainless tubing to fit in between the rod ends. That easy.
