Default Adjustable C Hub?

So is the only gain for a adjustable c hub the ability to adjust driveline angle?

I adjust my driveline angle with the links. The adjustments on the C hub is to raise up the steering cross bar.

Actually an adjustable C hub allows you to change the castor angle. Castor can be negatively effected when you change the length of the upper links to improve driveshaft angle. The only way to raise the steering link (tie rod), in relationship to its stock position, is to use high clearance steering knuckles.

Hope this helps!

Ok, so if I'm going from stock with a upgraded Axial linkage what would be a good affordable knuckle hub set? I was looking at Axial aluminum set.

It depends.

High steer knuckles are great, but its can be a pain to get the wheels to fit without wider hubs. Most of the time you end up running the tie-rod below the arm on the knuckle which isn't that much different from regular knuckles with the tie rod on top.

Example:
High steer:

Regular:

I'd go with these as they're both affordable and direct replacements for the stock stuff:
Knuckles:
STRC STEER KNUCKLES SCX10 (2) GM
Hubs:
STRC ALUM HUB CARRIERS SCX10 (2) BLACK

I prefer these (actually the zero ackerman knuckles but it doesn't look like those are sold anymore), but again, more work and parts:
Knuckles:
Berg High Steer Knuckles Clear Anodized - Vanquish Products
Hubs:
*RCP*Crawlers*AX10*SCX10*2...

The chub that gives the most castor is hands down locked up rc's offering. They work well with any knuckle. I prefer them in combo with SSD high steer knucks
