Began the process today. Sold a Tundra hard body I have with metal sliders and bumpers to fund the new build for my SCX10 Deadbolt. Have waiting at my LHS: G10 Chassis LC G Skid G10 Chassis Mount Servo G10 Forward motor mount Only thing he is out of at the moment is the transfer case, but will be getting that for me too. I've never done one of these before, so what else am I going to need to get going for it, I'm sure there's more to it then just these parts. I'll just be transferring the stuff I have from my Deadbolt over to it as much as possible for now, as far as electronics and stuff. |

Long story short, I could never really get the suspension dialed in correctly on this, so I never really finished it. It ended up going to a good friend of mine and he's running it as his C1 rig and got it to perform really well. But, just to get some closure, here is a pic of it when I was close to done at least! I really wish it had worked how I wanted because it looked badass! The full interior made it way too top heavy as well so it didn't perform up to TZ standards imo. | |
