Default Honcho crab walking

Ok so took the Honcho out for the first time today and the stock links bend so bad it crab walks instead of going strait lol. Truck is almost worthless IMO like this.

What links do you guys recommend? Want to replace all links as well as steering links. Thanks.

I bought the Vanquish titanium 3 link/ cms kit for the 12.3 wheelbase for my honcho. It does convert the stock axle mounted servo to a chassis mounted servo but it replaced every link on the truck and uses traxxas revo rod ends and I haven't had any problems with it.

Axial SCX 3 Link / CMS / Panhard Conversion Kit for Stock 12.3 WB Black Anodized - Vanquish Products

Here are some pictures:

Is chassis mounted servo better?

IMO- YES,
Gets the servo up off the axle, helps eliminate bump steer, more "scale "look w axle cleaned up. Also nothing wrong w Ti links, but dont discount stainless steel, slides over rocks easier, eithet way lots of good choices out there- make sure they're applicable to you rigs wb. Good luck.

CMS will not eliminate bump steer. In fact, you are more likely to have bump steer with CMS.

Just trying to prevent the spread of misinformation.

Athens, is your vehicle assembled correctly? It shouldn't crabwalk unless the link lengths are out of whack. I agree that you should upgrade your links, but it might be worth digging into the root cause first.

Truly my apologies . Thanks typhoon for correcting me, didnt mean to misinform or mislead. I apparently need to be re-educated on my 1's n 2's of cms.

It's an rtr so I'm not sure. I will measure the links.
