Upgrading Two Stock SCX10's: 1 Dingo kit, 1 Deadbolt RTR

I enjoy crawling and trail running but I'd rather have two $700 trucks than one $1400 truck (although I totally enjoy the awesome and expensive builds that folks are running out there - it's just not my thing). Also, I know I'm a wuss, but these two will not see deep water duty - I have others dedicated for those purposes

I have a Dingo SCX10 I built from a kit and a Deadbolt SCX10 RTR

The servos, motors, ESC's and BEC's, tires and wheels are already upgraded but I want to totally redo all suspension and steering links on the Deadbolt RTR and I want to upgrade the Dingo suspension from 3 link to 4 (right now, it's a mix between metal and plastic links)

I'm not against making my own links but I know nothing about sizes, cut lengths, which parts to buy, and so forth

Also, I only have ~$400 budget for any upgrades right now but I'll have more in a couple of months

Any suggestions for link kits and other upgrade suggestions will be most appreciated
