Meet Horhey,my Deadbolt

Just another Deadbolt. I call him Horhey.


Started life as a RTR run of the mill Deadbolt. I have changed the following and ended up with a truck that works pretty good.

Brazin Hi/Low g10 chassis
delrin links
gmade shocks set up as 70/30 droop
boom racing front c-hubs drilled to except 4mm set screws to hold them on. Also drilled a 3rd time just to make sure ;)
RPM steering arms
Boom rear lock outs
RPM rock sliders
front battery relocation mod.(stock plate and the use of some servo mounts)
receiver box up front
scalerfab front stinger bumper
rc4wd winch
Durbin stainless pumpkin skids
ssd steel beadlocks
veterra swampers
castle sv3
dynamite 20t
running on 2s lipo (i have a 3s but afriad i will lay waste to the drive line)
stock axles and internals
stock tranny
stock body painted on the outside to try to separate it from other deadbolts wit hsome custom decals
custom painted Horhey skull

I think thats it. Its a crawler/trail truck. I dont ever think the upgrades/mods will stop.

A few guys go together yesterday and took the trucks out to a local place we like to crawl. I had the great idea to try this ridge trail up on this super steep hill. We started off and it didnt take long before bad things happened. My truck barrel rolled down the side of this hill for about 30ish feet and then flew off the lower portion of the hill where a small cliff was. It then bounced off the rocks and then bounced into the water whgere it sat for 10 minutes till i could get back down the hill. Only damage was done to my bumper that took the brunt of the hit.

Here is a pic after the tumble. If you look close that is my truck upside down in the water. Thats me with my back turned looking for a stick to pull it out. About 40ft up that hill is where it all started.
