Default Scx10 winch on stock front bumper?

My 6 year old son has an scx 10 and was talking about a winch today. What is everyone using and can you mount it to the stock bumper, or is an aftermarket one completely necessary. The jeep is totally stock with no upgrades to speak of. It is the kit version. We dont comp it so not looking to spend a huge amount of money. Just looking for something that works well.

I'd say the biggest issue is going to be the weight of your rig. If it's not too heavy the plastic bumper will be fine. The scx2 stock bumper has a winch mount spot built into it so it can obviously handle it. Not sure which scx/bumper you have...

It's the original scx 10 with the stock bumper. It doesn't seem that heavy. I see the flat spot on the bumper and I think it will work. Worse comes to worse I can always upgrade the front bumper. Guess I will have to try it and see.
