Default The Doomed garage does a SCX10.... again.

Made a SCX10 with a couple of Vanquish upgrades and a custom crawl chassis last summer, but have not posted it here before and have not gotten out to drive it so much since I broke my knee last summer

Will post some more pictures of it later.

But here is some pictures from a little Easter trail I did today. And hopefully more will come since I felt my knee was ready for more.

That last pic is the coolest. Love the view. I spent a week in Stavanger at an NOV school. Cool people and cool town. Although the local brew was shite, it was fun.

Cool, the only thing I can think of when you say NOV school is National Oilwell Varico, but do they have a school? Must be a crane course :-D Had a NOV heave compensated crane onboard a vessel i worked on before.

Was the brew from Tau brewery? Only Brewery we have around here is Grim & Gryt, the bestselling brew they have is called Fish and Ships maritime pale ale, they have a few others as well.

The company I was with paid for it and it was for their heave compensated deep water drilling equipment. Cool course that proved very useful when I started working internationally.

The brew wasn't available in bottles or cans, just draft. It had a dirt flavor and sometimes there would be some grit towards the bottom. Checked the local's cups and they'd leave a finger's width in every cup they drank.

Love the pics. You're going to have to supply some HD resolution pics for my desktop like those last three.

I am. PM me if you are hiring because it's very slow down south where it used to not be.

Unfortunately the last three pics is from my old phone, and I don't have HD copies. :-(

I am very fortunate with nice crawling locations, and stunning nature.

Here is some pictures form one of my favorite crawling spots scenery wise. A different truck though.
And since I live on a island I love the ocean views. :-)

Tnx.

I'm not in the oil business anymore. But most people where I come from do though. In fact I have worked down south before (Texas, Mississippi, Louisiana area) my brother work on a construction vessel stationed in Mobile at the moment.
I work at a school now, but just applied to a government research ice class vessel. Hope I'll get the job, but in all fairness there was over 2000 applicants. Would be cool to go on some arctic and antarctic missions though, no phun intended

I spent nearly 14 years drilling in Texas, Mississippi, and Louisiana. I did two wells out of Mobile, too. One of those years on the Maersk Developer.

An Arctic gig would be very cool indeed.

I'm an operator, in the fields outside of Bakersfield. Things really came to a grinding halt last year. They are slowly starting to pick up, but nothing like it was 5 years ago. Strange times right now. I wish I had some leads for you. We've been operating short and they are just now starting to call back a few people that got laid off last year.
