I have a set. The pistons have a bit too much gap but work well enough and can be swapped with filed down axial pistons. Bore is about 2mm smaller than axial shocks. If you use the Axial spring retainers on this you can run axial springs. Stock springs, including the 2nd set that come with these shocks are too stiff for most scx10 (at least for my liking) this is why I put the Axial springs on them. Will try internal springs next for a more scale/clean look. Shocks are smooth in operation and mine do not leak (just make sure to apply oil on all the o-rings before assembly, or even better TA green slime). Takes some practice to bleed them as with most piggyback shocks. 30WT oil works well. Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk |
