| The doom and gloom Z bunker.
Had a dive into the parts bin and bolted together some parts. This is what came out of it. Was not sure what body to use with this, so it has been sitting around a few weeks. But then it hit me, I have a Proline Acopalypse body from a summit that is long gone. My nephew wanted me to build a Zombie bunker truck. But the summit was sold before we came around to it. It ate to much battery and had to have a backpack of batteries for ours 2-3h trails. So why not use it on this one. I cut it out to accommodate some TRX-4 fender flares that a bought for my Bronco build. Those allow to use the big 1.9 tires. Probably using Hyrax og RB XL. And it allowed me to shorten the 330mm WB to around 310mm. Mocked up a roof rack and light bar, and this is where I'm at now. Gonna paint it in flat black with some weathering and blood splatter. |

| Re: The doom and gloom Z bunker. I like the title of the thread and your sense of humor! Sweet looking rolling chassis. And it does look like a zombie fighting truck. Great start! |

Ohh yeah, I changed the gearbox to a scx10 2 kit gearbox. I am also considering this bumper with a zombie tied to the stinger |

In the meantime I'm googeling zombie figures. Found some from Walking Dead that would work. Also gonna fit a proline Cherokee interior to it, with a driver. Am not familiar with Walking Dead, but Negan looked like a cool dude to be the hero/driver. Is he a cool character in the show to? Have also a Hershel figure on its way, but was thinking about him for my rat rod build.

Negan as a cool dude is pretty funny! Unfortunately he is one of THE nastiest characters ever to be seen on a TV screen...I honestly do mean ever...if you can stomach it, watch the first episode of the prev season...I warn you though that it's fricken horrible (I actually felt ill after that hour of my life was taken away from me) especially so if you're watched the prev 6 seasons. I'm ok with uber violent movies, games and action but that was a simply a bridge way too far for me personally. His character made long term viewers abandon the show entirely. So maybe don't let people know that you've sought out Negan as your 'hero' character! Lol |

| Re: The doom and gloom Z bunker. Funny - I don't make a hobby of looking for figurines, but I was in Walgreen's today and that's the only cool one they had.... except perhaps for Venom - and Venom is also batsh*t crazy! Last edited by durok; 08-06-2017 at 09:11 PM. |

Awesome truck. Zombie on the stinger would be a nice touch -- reminds me of something else ... Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk Pro |

LoL did not know Negan was this sadistic mothaf**ker, but he was the coolest of the dudes I found, so think I'll go for him. The zombie on the stinger I'm undecided. It stands between these two. I was working this weekend so have not done anymore with this. But I'm prepping it for paint today. So update will follow soon. Tnx for comments. |

I'd vote for the second one. First one might get hung up / ruin approach angle, lol! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro |

Finished up some more details, and mounted the body to the truck. Pleased with the result |

Next will be mounting the last fender, got to search for some screws... LoL. And wait for the bumpers to arrive. While I wait, I can put some lights in the light bar and headlights. Also have to put on some weapons and stuff. |

Looking good. I like the Mohawk Zombie as well. There is also a decent one from Ghostbusters I found cheap at Toys'R'Us: Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk |

this is looking pretty awesome, I like it a lot. So much so I started looking into one myself. Had you considered using the exo cage system for it? I think I'm going that route!

I like the look of this rig. It's always cool to see a different vision come to life. Good job on your zombie hunting machine

The main reason I did this was I had the body left from a summit I sold. And a nephew that thinks zombies are the coolest.
