| Old school cj build
A buddy gave me an old proline scrambler body so I figured I’d repurpose one of my less used trucks to build it. Removed the front of the stock scx frame and brazed a rear section of another scx frame to gain room for steering since I’m running shorter then stock shocks Got the ride height set where I wanted it after the chassis mod and built a battery tray , some electronics box mounts and some sliders out of aluminum. Got it all done and running. Still need to build some simple bumpers and swap in a 35t Holmes motor Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I love these old school simple builds. They bring back good memory's.

My memory is a little sad... 'cuz I had one of those bodies, unpainted, waiting to be prepped and mounted on on of my old Traxxas rigs - and then my apartment complex burned down!

| Re: Old school cj build That sucks! I’ve had several of these bodies over the years, mostly on nitro bashers. They never lasted long lol
