Had this for a while never made a post on it. Ive bought and sold tons of rig, but this ones here to stay. I picked it up on here for a bill n half. Absolutely loved it. This was also about 2 weeks before a local g6. I had no axles, electronics, wheels, tires, just a bare cage, body, dummy winch and skid. Now, unfortunately I dont have pics of tearing it down, sanding, painting and assembling it all. But here is a list of the changes -Body-beat used and abused (light blue) Now bondoed, sanded and painted purple! -Scrapped up these parts off a buddy; trans complete axles with beef tubes complete driveshafts new style wb8 hobby shop(s) parts -strc links 2 sets of fronts (needed the lengths) -misc screws and bearings -1.9 racelines, proline K02s -rc4wd winch and controller heres a teaser so the first post isnt longgg Sent from my SM-G928P using Tapatalk |

Very nice! That paint color just works. What type of wheels are those?

Got me some sweet shots last weekend. Enjoy! Had a few trail damages along the way though. New body coming soon. Going to do a tear down of the entire truck. Trying to find a little bit stronger paint I can use on the cage to keep from scratching off so easy. Also new body will most likely have the cowl off this truck, cut out and installed on the new body. I will have a windsheild on the new body, hopefully keep the body together a little more. Possibly gonna get tko axles as well. Well see. Sent from my SM-G928P using Tapatalk |

This is a new one for me. Cutting hardbodies with COTTON! Yes thats a fact, you can cut hardbodies with string. I have some from a sewing kit the wife had laying around. It can cut pretty accurate and with a very small line. Worked good in my opinion, any only took about 5-10 minutes to get all the way though. Got my f1 spools, vanquish vvds, and brand new 1.9 rock beasts ready to go on once I get more done with the body. Ill now chop the bed sides off, Take all the accessories off and start on pinching the front. Sent from my SM-G928P using Tapatalk |

Also got some halo green lights drilled out in the grille. Going to order a billet style grille and bug guard. Most likely at sun visor too. The old body was pinched in the front but I took out the front wheel well tubes so I can run a full size body and grille. Have the bed cut out and its ready for bondo sanding and paint. white bright lights flip the switch and green halos! Sent from my SM-G928P using Tapatalk |

Took it out and beat it up pretty good. Was def not easy on it. Everything driveline wise is still holding up. Surprisingly still running stock diff gears and they are holding up with new spools attached to them. Vvds hardly look worn, and on a brand new set of tires thats good, considering the tires have tons of wear on them. The rocks were very porous and grippy, made for a very good day of crawling. I did get a little wild, hit some jumps. Ended up braking one of the bottom screw hole tabs on the body :( but other than that its good. Before it went out A whole lot of beautiful parts. SSD, vanquish, rc4wd, tss, savox, oh and a missing beadlock screw Sent from my SM-G928P using Tapatalk |

I got tired of messing up a brand new hard body, I decided to get a lexan body and figure out how to cut it to fit. It could only be 9inches from front end to bumper due to the cage work. So no extended cabs, or large honcho style cabs. I did find a c10 chevy body for a tmaxx, it was 9.5 to the bed. Little snip snip here and snip snip there I got it to fix. Threw the same style paint colors on as the clod body. I figure this will also help with weight. Finished mounting it all up last night. Body mounts with velcro down by the sliders and bed screws into the cage, same as the clod body. Trying to keep it where I can just swap bodies quickly and easily. One for show one for bashing, hard crawling lol. Sent from my SM-G928P using Tapatalk |

Starting back up on this one! It’s been in a tote out in the shed for months. With the G6 coming up I’m going to do my best to make this thing sick! Already have the wheels and tires for it. Have to rob them off my Venture but it’s already got a few different sets anyway. Going to strip/ sand/ polish and have the cage powder coated. Not sure on color yet but possibly a gun metal. Have to source a new trans, and body. Other one has far too many cracks to fix. I’ll post more once I get some progress on it! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
