| Panhard axle bracket for CNC axles?
Hi Everybody, I'm new to the forum. I'm building a SCX10 and have an all-metal CNC chassis. Not keen on axle-mounted servo so I have purchased the RC4WD panhard CMS conversion. However, I've now realised that the metal axles I have are not a match for the original axles, so the panhard bracket won't fit the metal axle. See attached picture. Does anyone know of an alternative bracket which might work, or is there a way to attach the panhard bar to the steering knuckle? Thanks in advance! Meriadoc. I see some good seperation between to screw holes on the axle. It probably would not be hard to make a bracket for the panhard bar to mount to the axle housing. The ultimate goal is to have the panhard bar, and drag link be the same length and Parallel that can be challenging and does not have to be exact. But it helps! lol. Old blue never did, but it was close. I used SSD D60's that came with a bracket. Old Blue. Coulda, Shoulda, Woulda. |

Thanks for the reply, much appreciated! Unfortunately I don't currently have the tools or equipment to fashion a custom bracket. Do you know of a generic bracket which could be attached to the top of the steering knuckle? If I did this the geometry should be pretty good? Many thanks, Meriadoc |
