Nice build, love that 1966 Ford pickup body! Good front bumper choice too.

You'd likely be dead, and your truck crushed by the boulder. Good thing we have scale rigs to play with so we don't die, hehe.

I'll do some more catch up before I get into the new changes...

I play on the hills in my yard whenever I get a chance, they are pretty challenging..

Added lights with a Heyok controller, its sweet..

Guy on facebook was selling this flat skid, it moves the whole tranny/tcase assy up about 1/4"

Seemed to help out a bit, just with a higher belly..

Glad you like the pics, Not too many people see my rigs in person so this is how I am able to share them...

While I really like the ford body, I wanted my setup to be more scale, I like that the chevy body has a matching interior and a bed. Hope sometime proline will do some fords properly with a bed... anyway.. Chevy it is.

Just sitting there to get a feel...

Tamiya interior dude will work well..

Blue...Rough cutting to fit...not easy because the transmission was raised for the flat skid..

Didn't want any body clips this time..so magnets. I used an old pair of associated body mounts for between the cab and bed with more magnets..

Body still just rough cut, held on by magnets...Grader flex test...

6 ton Jackstand flex test..

My shaky hands doing some detail paint..

Interior vercro'd in, did you know all the chevys had "Champagne" interior paint? gold is close enough...

Stickers on and trimmed up better..

I used shoe goo then I added a layer of clear tape to the body side so that the magnets don't grip each other as bad

I have been hearing some grinding noises while in reverse, did it with the old axles and the Vanquish, and I wanted to swap out the Pro4 anyway, so figured I would look thru the tranny..

Didn't find anything..

Oh well, onto trying to fit the interior... With the motor/trans raised in the chassis it hit the bottom of the interior a bit, Roc412 is shorter, that helped..

Hits the battery mount too, so its as low as it goes..

New low profile wiring for the 412..

This one shows with battery and how much I had to cut the back of the cab/bed front..

Fits now tho....

Still want to lower the back a touch, but getting close...

With the Wife's Black Friday Deadbolt..BFD.

Saw on Harley's Budget build that he flipped the rear towers side to side, So I did that too, It allowed me to move them one spot forward on the frame and put the magnet body mounts in the same place. This made the rear shocks angle forward, lowering the back a touch and increasing travel I would assume..

Got my driver in place with the steering wheel that I got off shapeways..

Interior was installed with Velcro..

DIESEL likes it!
