Default Anyone else using the savox sc1210SG?

the servo is a little too tall for the scx10ii (servo's height is 42mm and the max servo height the car can accept is 38mm though it does not state 38mm frm base to which part of the servo)

so far i've seen only 1 guy using this servo and fixed it with a few washers. not sure if there's any issues from this fix..

anyone else having this problem? I was about to get this servo earlier when I decided to build it first then use another similar sized servo to do a test fit.

I did this. Adding a 2mm spacer on each screw did the trick. It's been rock solid so far.

I use it with axial servo arm. I sanded arm a little and no issue, no washers.

I had no issues especially running the boomracing shockhoops. Using a axial aluminum servo horn.

what's the stock servo horn made from? plastic or alu?

I've yet to open up mine for some strange reason

The stock horns are plastic. I have the same servo and use a Tekno low-profile horn and it clears the panhard perfectly. Adding washers or spacers will do the trick as well.
