| SCX10 II and another D90 trayback... I built this shell for my Rc4wd chassis and I don’t know what it is but it just bored me, towards the end I’d lost interest - my vision didn’t really have the impact I was hoping for so it was fine to get extreme with it...... This is what I’d done to a Chinese D90 Added some KAHN arches First attempt at a heated rear window Added some bonnet detail as the mound lines are a bit lacking Made some more aggressive looking air intakes It just wasn’t doing it for me, I call my other trayback the gigglepin as it’s based on gigglepin racing’s 1/1 rig and I love that thing to bits (as does my son) so it was fine to kit out another scx10ii chassis This was the first real mock up and getting an idea for how things needed to fit, made a winch mount front bumper. The rear tray is aluminium plate, must have measured and trimmed 1000 times to get it fitting right Made some light boxes for the dash to direct the led lights, painted the inside chrome to try and bounce as much light around as possible Nearly finished, I liked the chevron from the gigglepin so much I had to do it again Printed all the stickers myself using transparent labels and a laser printer Interior lighting worked out well I’m just waiting on a set of the hella spotlights for the front bumper and need to work out some tail lights and she’s done Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

| Re: SCX10 II and another D90 trayback... I had mounted the rear of the cage a bit hastily to get out in time for a local meet..... So I decided once Home to sort it out properly Braised a plate for mounting to the rear tray... Now it hinges nicely for easy access for maintenance and battery changes. Shell held on by the screws on the side, just gotta wind them out a few turns and it pops up Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Very nice! The hinge method for accessing the internals is a nice touch.
