Default Did you trim the stock tire foams?

For those of you using the stock tires, did you trim the foams? I haven't cut mine yet and they are feeling quite hard, or maybe they need to be broken in?

I didn't cut mine and they are working great. They did go to another, heavier truck, so that may be why. I wouldn't suggest cutting them though unless you just can't spare $20 for Crawler Innovations foams.

I did. Work amazing. Cross hatched cuts half inch apart and half inch deep. Way better bite and still side hills great.

Nope, I use them as cup holders, I bought some Crawler Innovations. LOL
