Default 2.2 tires

Was hanging out at my local hobby shop. Threw a set of 2.2 BFG All Terrains in. Looks good but then I'd have to hack the flares off. Put the stocks back on.

Best way to run 2.2's Get a body with round wheel wells like mine or like the pro-line 72' Chevy body
Using the kit's Jeep body Put on 100mm shocks & raise the body post a little.
And you sill would have to trim the body's fender wells some.

Although not on my SCX10-2, but still the body from it (shortened it to a 2-door) is on my 2.2 comp truck (scx10 rear axle, narrowed AR60 up front). I run the shorter Proline Super Swamper TSL (5.4") and they fit inside the wheel wells nicely.

Hey Stomper and SuperDrty would each of you tell me what brand and size SLW hubs each of you have on your Pro-Line 2.2 wheels? I have the same wheels as both of you and i need to order hubs.

Thank You,
~Darris

I'm using Axial plastic hubs for the Yeti, the wide ones out back on a stock width scx axle. My front axle is wider so I run the narrow hub up front

HI ( Say What ) , This is what I am useing for Tires / Wheels & Hubs

Pro-Line Interco TSL Super Swamper 2.2" G8 Tires - 5 1/4" Tall
Pro-Line FaultLine 2.2" Blk/Blk Bead-Loc Yeti F/R
Vanquish SLW 350 Wheel Hub's (2) Sets
Vanquish SLW Hub Screw Kit - (2) Packages (24) Total
Or scale screw's that look like real lug nuts. - Them are what I am using now.
And you have to buy a special tool to install them so it can get a little pricey.

Just To Note:
After running my truck with that setup above, I had to do a lot more modification's.
Then just putting on 100mm shocks. I had to trim the under pans that the sliders mount to.
More trimming of the body & had to raise the body some.
Starting to think if it was really even worth going with 2.2 tire's at all now.

Will have some Up-date pics soon.
