Wrangler Unlimited Body

Hi All,

I'm new to scale crawlers and I just put in an order for the SCX10 II kit. I would really like to put a Wrangler body on it and I saw that a few years ago Axial made a Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon kit. Does anyone know where to get that body kit? I like the fact that it has a removable top and rear bumper with a swing out spare tire carrier. It looks like the kit has been discontinued but i hope the body and roll cage/interior is still available? Appreciate the help!

Oh, am i correct to assume that the body will fit the SCX10 II right? The wheelbase is identical from what ive seen. Also can you recommend the part# for the body posts ill need to mount the Wrangler body?

The kit comes with the posts to match up to the older bodies.

I buying one from local hobby store, they still had in stock although the body got some dent in some places.. yes you're correct..the wheelbase will fit for wrangler body..
front body post is using the stock, for the rear you can using spare bodi post that you get on kit..

Oh....where can i get a rear bumper with a swing out rear tire carrier? Are there aftermarket manufacturers? I've looked into Knights Customs for an upgraded grill and front bumper but couldnt find a rear bumper with that swing out rear tire carrier. Are there other manufacturers that make aftermarket grills and bumpers other than Knights Customs?

You should have more than enough body mounts. The scx2 kit comes with mounts . The body for the wrangler also comes with mounts. Don't paint the body then mock it up with the mounts.
