More progress on it today. Now I need to modify the winch plate with some tabs to tie it into the grill surround for some added support. Then I need to decide on what transmission I'll use so I can figure out the bars at the rear of the cab area.
Getting so much closer.

Decided to try a Cherokee transmission to gain a little interior space. Got it built and installed to see where I'm at. Threw a Recaro seat in that I had laying around to get a visual idea. Going to try some Wraith seats to see how they look. I'll need to figure out what figure works best with them to see how they work with it. Still figuring out the battery box setup.

After a little break due to a back issue, I'm back on this.
Here is the current mockup ride height. Gonna try to get it a little lower.
Also, had to redesign a couple of things. I felt the front bumper/winch mount needed to tuck in a little more and, after checking my flex clearance, decided to narrow up the grill area and modify it for the Vanquish Q series lights I'll be using.
More updates to come as soon as I can get the redesigned parts cut laser cut.

Got some stuff back from the laser today. New grill, bumper brackets and winch plate.
Got the new grill surround bent and mocked up the bumper brackets and winch plate. Almost pulled the winch back too far. Also just to give you an idea of how fine the logo is, I set an X-acto knife next to it.
Hopefully I can get some time this weekend to get some stuff brazed up.
Getting close to the finish line. Now to decide what color to paint the cage. Planning on red for the body.

Got the bumper and grill/surround brazed up today. Really liking how this is coming together.
More to come.

door and cab rear bars are in. One more thing and I can think about cleaning it up and painting it. Still need to decide what color to paint the cage. Planning on red for the body.

I know it's kinda spendy, but that cage would look great coated in Steel-it.

If you can’t do Steel-it, rhino line it. Whatever you do, I would definitely do black.

I'm gonna call the tubework done.
Included one with the winch in place and, a side shot so you can see that the stinger isn't as high as the one picture makes it look. Still a little taller than I had planned but, I can live with it.
Now time to clean it up and get things painted.

Finally got a chance to get the chassis, cage and body painted. I'm really happy with the way the paint color came out. I'll get an outdoor pic as soon as the weather cooperates.
Just a few little things to do before I figure out the wiring.

Thanks.

Took it for it's shakedown run today. Quite happy with how it did. Just need to make a few tweaks to make it even better.
Have some scale hardware coming and, still need to get some rings cut for it. Then I can call it complete.

I’m assuming you mean from the front. I’ll have to take one when I get home.
Wheelbase is set at 11.4 inches.
