I have a scx10 ii I just got . I was thinking of adding the overdrive for crawling . Would I have to get anything with that so I don’t strip anything ? Or can it just be added to stock diff ? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Last edited by Ignacio Sanchez; 01-11-2021 at 05:58 PM. |

You can add directly. I’ve found some extra weight will work wonders with the extra pull from the gears. I like brass knuckles personally. I’ve already adjusted foams(CI)and tires (pit bulls) Before gear change. Hang up and Drive |

First, Welcome to RCC! Changing to an OD front gear will only help you climbing and will hurt everywhere else. On the other hand added weight will help in most every situation. |

What he says is when the fronts turn faster, you will suffer on straight ahead trailing. OD is great for crawling and climbing, not going fast on trails Hang up and Drive | |
