| Making 4WS possible??
I'm thinking of making my SCX 10.3 into 4WS but im not that happy with the servo on the axle. Would it work in the rear if I did mount it with a CMS and Panhard? Pros? Cons? |

Pro of any servo on axle is longer servo life due to more leverage/efficiency. Pro of cms is scale...considering there isn’t a factory 4ws option for any of the ‘scale’ trucks represented in the 10iii lineup I would not be worried about that factor and just mount it on the axle. Personally servo on axle doesn’t bother me any more than shallow interiors, decal grills, body pins, or anything else that makes RC work...different argument I know. Just daydreaming about your setup though you would literally ‘reverse engineer’ the front setup. The relationships between components and their corresponding mounting points would be the same. I say go for it you don’t have much to lose if you buy some parts, worse comes to worse they end up as spares for the front. |

Did you end up doing the 4ws?

Every time I've done 4WS, I've gone with a traditional 4-link and servo on axle.
