Every Axial shock leaks eventually, I don't use them, when I built my 10.3 I used Trx4 shocks. Sent from my SM-N981U using Tapatalk |

eBay is a good source for Trx4 shocks, if you watch you can usually find a set of 4 for around $45 + shipping. I’ve been happy with the element enduro bronze shock set, they are $76.50 for the set from amain or rpp I believe. They come with pivot balls, and have springs that are geared towards an scx10.2 type rig. A lot of people seem to like traxxas big bore shocks, I haven’t used them personally. Most people modify the shock cap to accept a standard rod end, and they utilize short mini t springs. I believe dlux fab sells pre modified sets with springs for a very reasonable price. Search for dravtechs if you want to see more on those. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I was using the stock Axial shocks, which no longer have any oil. Started leaking about a month later after building. Didn’t try any green slime though. Swapped to TRX4 shocks, but using the Axial springs. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I have heard there is an advantage to using a shorter shock for the scx10 iii bronco... if that is true how do I even know how long the stock ones are and where do I purchase new ones... Fred (newby)

Stock shocks on the SCX10iii Early Bronco are 100mm long. You could confirm this by using a measuring device such as a ruler. You can purchase shorter 90mm shocks from almost anywhere that sells RC parts, such as: https://www.amainhobbies.com/search?s=90mm+shocks | |
