That's one way to find out if it's water proof

I wouldn't try it, maybe if you put the ESC in something water proof

I think I am going to liquid tape the ESC just to be sure but very impressive!

Isn't the AE-2 ESC they're using in the Wraith based off the Sidewinder with brushed only and a 2S max input?

If they built it anywhere like the Sidewinder then its "splash resistant." A quick dump and rollover into water like that shouldn't be an issue...I think they must have a nice somewhat sealed electronics box like on the SCX10's.

I was driving mine completely submerged for quite awhile yesterday and on 3s. The ESC has a waterproof coating, the only issue may come when you get the ESC hot and then dunk it.

The motor ended up letting go on me but most likely due to very dirty water.

Same plastic case, all internals are completely different though. Different board, FET's, etc.

Like Harley said, CC uses a coating over their boards to help them be water resistant.
