| 32p steel gears
I'm thinking of going with 32p steel gears on my wraith, how loud are they? I know when I went steel on my short course it got pretty loud. Thanks.

I have them on my wraith...they make some noise but not horribly loud in my opinion...i like hearing some noise from the gears...gives me a good idea how the motor is doing under load as well as the battery voltage...those two things change and you will definately hear a change in the pitch of the gear noise....

No point. Plastic 32p spurs are as strong as Ar60s.

Love mine and the noise of the motor is really louder than the gears.

If the noise bothers you, try greasing up the pinion and spur gear, it should quieten it down a bit
