Thanks for the info, I'm running 2s lipos now so maybe the 7T puller will work.

TJ....pics here look a lot better than the ones you texted me last night. Seeing it on a large screen makes a big difference! New tires look great on the Wraith. also like the lowered look. Next time you head up to my area you need to help me lower mine with what I have (I really can't spend any more money at this point!). Hoping some minor mods can lower my Ax10 a bit.

Well I have made some changes to my Wraith since my last post.

BWD XR10 Lower Links- Since I broke a link I was looking to upgrade and as my Wraith will be more of a crawler than a racer I looked to BWD as their XR10 links work very well added some needed clearance. The install was easy but I needed to swap link ends as the front links hit the uppers if they were installed with the stock XR10 ends.

CC Sidewinder SV2- Since I have had an issue with smoking 2 motors Axial asked for me to swap out the speed controller for a different one. Fits in the stock location and the added crawler drag brake is a must for this heavy rig.

CC BEC- My SV2 has had a BEC on it so I swapped that over too, I had it set to 6 volts on my other rig and I didn't think about it and I smoked the stock sevo!!

TPro 946MG- I have used them on other rigs and have had great luck with them so when I smoked the stock one I swapped it in. Has more power than the stock one and handles 6 Volts like a charm.

87/16 Gearing- Since I am having motor issues I swapped in a 87t spur and a 16t. Top speed is down but wheel speed is still good and its not getting too hot.

Painted Body- I wanted my Wraith to stand out a bit so I grabbed some Krylon Fusion and went to town.

Hill-Billy Jim- Day one I knew I needed a driver and it took a while but I added one that I feel fits well. Just look at the smile on his face he is enjoying it!!!

Things that need to be addressed: Steering Linkage, C hubs, Knuckles and a Hand wound motor. Still undecided on some stuff but I love this rig!!

Pictures from my front yard today:

TJ,

Hoping to have some more work done on my rock pile by the weekend so let me know if you are around either Saturday or Sunday. If Jason is around maybe we can make a stop by his house too. He made some changes to his rock trail and it looks to be twice as long as before now!!

Well today I made some changes to my Wraith. I added Hot-Racing C-Hubs, Knuckle's and Vanquish TI Drag Link and Tie Rod. To keep with the scale look I painted the steering links flat black. Steering is much better as it's not binding up with the TI steering links. I went with the HR parts as the price point was lower and I now see a need for a much better steering servo so I can use the money I saved for that.

I also scored a new 7T HH Puller off another member and will have it installed before the week end!!!

So right now I think I need a better servo and may need to address the gears and drive shafts once the Puller is installed

A few more mods and two things will happen

1. It will no longer be a Wraith
2. You will have officially spent more on this than you have on your JK

Overall, looks great! Can't wait to see it in action.

to keep the pin from coming out of the cup, pull the axle out and put a small o-ring on it then slide back into housing. this will help on full turn it wont bind(pushes the dogbone deeper into the cup)

My HH Puller showed up today, hope to get it installed today.

Anyone have any idea as to what type of gearing I should run with this thing? Right now I'm running 87s/16p and would like to keep some speed or maybe a bit more!!
