Not really. Take into account quality aluminum (all the over seas companies generally use total crap materials), tighter tolerances, and better quality machining (compare the finish of the parts). If you actually look at the whole package it's something that many of those other companies flat out aren't capable of doing. Let alone for just slightly more money.

I guess if I lived in the US and could buy said "name brand" parts for $39.99 total or with little to no shipping charge it might be a better option for me. But, I would have to pay$39.99 plus exchange rate on my PayPal plus some outrageous shipping value. Thus making said parts over $50. When my LHS has the "other" brand for $25.99 I just can't justify the difference.
Sorry, not bashing the product.. I bet they are Excellent.. Just don't like the bottom line price.

so just to make sure before i order them but the robinson racing trans gears i need are #1540 and 1541? Was there a different output shaft i needed to use the mip drivelines in the future? Right now im wanting to build the trans and not have to ever open it again so I want to make sure i have the correct stuff.

Yup that's what you need. No other output is needed.

Hey I need a pro answer, I just bought a cc pro bec, for two 7955 TG servos and also using the NVS as well a winch, using 4pk with 604fs rec. my question is a two part. First what do you set the input voltage on bec as well as output? Using a venom 3800 2s for size reasons. Reason I ask is both servos are rated for 6v. And the 604fs is rated max 6.0v 2nd question is setting u my 4pk for 4ws. Thanks for your time and once again your thinking on those axles.
Do you use the two input wires off of the bec to the servos for power and separate the signal wire?

You don't need to set the input voltage, just the output.

The 4PK RX can take 7.4v without an issue.

Try this for the rear steer.

Now for Rear steering control we will be using PMix2 (program mix 2). Set the Master channel to steering and the slave channel to channel 4 (rear servo). I set the left and right values as -100%. Make sure the mode is set to Active at the bottom.

http://i125.photobucket.com/albums/p...a/IMAG0118.jpg

I set PMix1 on push button 1 which is on the bottom of the wheel, it feels very natural to hit the button it is a fantastic spot. I set PMix2 to push button 2, which is on the grip followed but and easily activated/deactivated by your middle finger..

To do this go to the SWTCH menu.
Set PS1 to PROG MIX1 / ALT
Set PS2 to PROG MIX2 / ALT

http://i125.photobucket.com/albums/p...a/IMAG0119.jpg

http://i125.photobucket.com/albums/p...a/JU010123.jpg

...

Now for rear steer activating PMix2 by pushing the button on the grip gives me a standard tight turning type setup.

http://i125.photobucket.com/albums/p...a/IMAG0120.jpg

Now for independent rear steer. Go to the Dial menu and set the the first three lines as such and all others to OFF:
*DL1: CH4: 50 / NOR
*DL2: CH4: 50 / NOR
*DT1: CH4: 50 / NOR

http://i125.photobucket.com/albums/p...a/IMAG0122.jpg

http://i125.photobucket.com/albums/p...a/IMAG0123.jpg

The value of 50 can be adjusted depending if you want the amount your rear turns on each click to be more or less. With the 50 value your wheel will turn half way towards full lock with each click. So if you click it twice to the left than you will be at full lock left. Understand?

You the Man!

I bought the pro version cause I read somewhere I'll need one to prevent my servos from browning out. Browning? Can this bec pro run everything that I stated at output voltage at 6v?

Whats the Differential Gear Ratio for the front/rear end? The transmission is the same as the AX-10?

Yes it will run what you need. One regular BEC is not really enough to feed both servos.

It's the same as the AX10 as well, 38/13.

Thanks. I am trying to figure out my esc caught on fire. Thinking it might be gears.. not 100% 2s 40c, stock motor/esc

I highly doubt the gears are the issues. Something else may be causing binding but probably not the gears.

I run mip drive shafts, put avid bearings all through the truck. It rolls super smooth slim to no drag. Gear mesh was perfect. I was climbing a small hill, ~2-4 degrees and she went up in small flames. i ripped the esc off the truck and the circuit plate was black and seen better crawls.

Thanks Harley, will do and if you want to get rid of your stiffy cassis. I would be glad to buy.

Ok, read all 21 pages and no real discussion on the Tekin RS esc and a 13.5 redline motor, it was pulled from the B44.1 but I don't know if the esc will handle a 100 gate rock race that includes hills, rocks, racing, crawling, pretty much any conditions you can throw at it, any thoughts? I will probably be using a 2S lipo for now but the possibility of 3S is not out of the question. I will deffinatly upgrade the gears in the transmission and upgrade to 32pitch pinion and spur along with drive lines, and lockers.

Any gearing suggestions and input on esc? In the summer the 4 pole 4000kv or maybe the 3300 kv if I decide to spend the cash and Tekin rx8 may end up in the wraith when short course season is on hold but it's just a thought.

That is in line with my suggested setups, it's covered in the other sticky. The only thing I would watch is temps on the ESC.

Try gearing down just a little bit and going with 32p. Try 60/14 or 60/13 and adjust from there.

Can anyone tell me - will AX10 skid plate fit to the wraith cage? Native skid is "out of stock" everywhere… :(
