Default Roland Rockshop Wraith Rebuild to Wrexo

Heres one just like all the rest...

for now..

My overall 1st impression of the wraith is its size..
if/when you get one you'll see..you just wanna throw
a battery in it and see what it can do!

Hats off to Axial for the ocp design..nice job!
i see some unique applications for this axle..

Electrics are good-great for a rtr...2.4ghz radio rec
esc is alot,ALOT better than the previous model esc..
servo..ehh ,still could use a lil bit more umpfh to power the
steering duties.

Battery placement could have been worked in up front..
that is my only complaint so far.

Shocks are good, but will be replaced with alum adj shocks.
or the stockers will be upgraded with axial alum shock bodies.

Linkage is on par for a stock rtr..
upgraded linkage will be a must if you plan on bashing this beast with some hardcore trail running in mind.

Steering linkage is still ok for stock..but definite on the upgrade list.

Love the new cvd drivelines..well see how long these drive shafts hold up before becoming the next article in the parts pile.
i like the splined shafts.

Interior is a awesome job!
many rigs are fixn to be spruced up with this intierior!

im gonna run it with the stock electrics till something goes out
or up in smoke!

1ST some minor changes..
headlight/taillight swap..

looks nasty right..

alum brake disc hexs..HR 38mm

shock springs...
dont know what brand these are,had them in my spring pile..
just a tad softer spring rate than the stock axial springs that
come on the wraith..relocated shock mounts to 1st inner hole..

elec..
i relocated the power wires to go over tranny and hook up from underneath..nice and clean.

steering..
ordered the cms steering kit from level3..

and made up some alum steering rods..

axles..
ordered the HR knuckles and c's..

paint diff covers, till someone makes an alum diff cover for the ocp axle..

tires..
for now i gonna run the piss outta the ripsaws..
only mods ive done on tires/wheels..
enlarge the vent holes on front wheels and
cut the treads to let the tire carcass flex easier.

2nd
custom Roland Rockshop sticker wrap from Freqeskinz
2.2 rc4wd claws or boggers
2.2 alum beadlocks??

3rd intierior..
got a few neat ideas brewing..

stock servos gone..1 too many rock bounces..
inner gear case moves more than the servo arm..

hitec 645mg reported for duty..and was promptly installed..

Tried out the 2.2 rc4wd rok-locs this morning..
a bit to bouncy for this top heavy rascal..
not near as nice as the sedonas i ran the 1st run thru.

trying these 2.2 wheels from TSS on some rovers 2mrw..

..its resting..shh ..its been along day..
