No pics sorry,

It's easy, just remove your lower shock bolts and bottom link bolts from the mount on the axle. Then take the two bolts out that hold the mount on the axle, flip mount 180*, reassemble lot.

Took me a while to figure this out too. The mounting locations on the axle fit so well I thought they were a part of the axle, but they come off with two screws each from the other side of the axle housing.

Part # AX80070 is the mount, and what you want to flip.

works great btw, especially when you move the shock locations in closer to the center of the rig.

I did the same thing. I thought it was all 1 molded piece, until I RTFM...
then I realized that they unscrewed from the axle housing.

What does flipping it do give you a lower center of gravity

Yes, that's exactly what it does.

Here is mine with flipped mounts, and the shock location moved towards the middle. Mine is on the left. My sons is on the right, and the way it is out of the box.

Stock shock and springs for now. I didn't flip the top mount, I just moved them to the hole closest to the center of the rig. You can see the position difference in the pic between the two.

in this pic you can see where the shocks mount. the arrow on the front and rear point to the outer most hole. in the front lets call it 1, the center 2 and the inner hole 3. I put my front shocks @ hole 3. in the rear lest call the hole in the pic 1, the center 2, and the inner hole 3. I put my rear shocks @ hole 3.

It crawls pretty well that way. I posted a video in the videos section that has some decent crawling in it.

I believe you can flip the rear upper shock mounts to lower the rear. Just swap the "J" shaped upper mounts from L to R & visa versa. This will raise the upper mount up a bit to lower the ride height too.

Look's like a good stance but does it make the ground clearance on the axle worse? If not i may try this.

It wouldnt change the ground clearance on the axle... The axle clearance is dictated by tire size.

I understand what your asking. Here are some pics. You can see the link mount is not flush on the bottom, but it's only an 1/8 inch lower maybe.

Let me upload pics to photobucket, 1sec.
its just over 2" from the bottom of the mount where the link attaches to the ground.

i put my front shocks in the # 3 pos. and i flipped the bar in the top in the rear and backed the spring tensioners on the shocks all the way up and it worked killer, my links are almost level at ride hight and it doesnt roll over either.
i would think that flippin the lower mount would make it hang lower then the axle tube and cause it to hang up.
