Default Wraith antenna

Just got the Wraith--pretty new to this, just my second car, and my first 2.4 Ghz radio. I'm wondering what the common consensus is regarding the rx antenna. I've read that some folks coil it up and put it in the electronics box. Anyone run into problems doing that with the stock Axial setup? If not that, can I ziptie it under the hood? I'd rather not have use the antenna tube sticking up from the hood.

Thanks for helping out a newcomer.

I don't cut any of my antenna wires, but I coil all of them up and keep them in the electonics box. I do this on everything I have and never had a problem on crawlers, short courses, drifters, etc.

I ziptied the ant tube to the cross brace under the hood. i can still control it further than I can throw.

On Spektrum, I've coiled the ant inside the receiver case with out issues.

Tried coiling it up inside the box tonight--took me a little longer than I anticipated to get it open and then back shut (&^#@% gasket), but no problems with range that I could tell afterward. Thanks!
