also moved the lights up onto the plate. i was going to do through the panel mod with them but i figured this would easier in case i have to remove the panels.

Had a chance to run it today.. With me still looking for some used SLW v1's I have the TSL's mounted on mixed match wheels. and the front wheels are starting to grow on me as far as looks. may run those instead.

small clip..

pretty cool ric..just a tip to all that dont know..when you jump release the throttle while in the air unless you want to correct you levelness..holding throttle on jumps is what bust xvd's,axle shafts, and driveshafts..i know this from shortcourse racing..those parts take alot of shock when you land and they are spinning wide open under power..anyways thats thing is quick and i'm digging the mix match wheels

thanks for the tips.

yes it's aluminum sheet that i picked up awhile back for some other builds. do know the exact thickness, thinking .020, but it's real thin. i can trim it with scissors.

that would be nice.. the screws are for a cover.. they were made back in the day before hubs were considered for wheels.

made some changes..

played with some styrene and made some side panels. painted them silver to see what an aluminum panel would look like before i order a set.

also hacked up an old C10 body to grab the hood. gotta add a touch of chevy there...
